I wish these reviews put up more videos of gameplay. They always link to the trailer that has some crated flashes, but it isn’t really telling.

“This can’t be right, I pay less!” —Yeah, and you probably live somewhere with electricity cheaper than the national average.
Or it’s just proof that Tesla has been overcharging for it’s vehicles.. Pun intended.
More proof that a first impression stays. I just got into it lately and found it brimming with content. Seems they did a great job adding to the game, but ppl just never came back to it.
Wait, so they think ppl will pay more for a car to see it brought down the vending machine once? Or ppl will spectate, waiting for a sale?
Reminds me of HotD. Only major changes were small tweaks, like making a character a teenager instead of a young child, or a king old instead of middle aged. Small, but still enough to piss off some fans.
How is Witcher different from the books? What changes are ppl mad about?
Actually it’s a big issue just this week. The Writers Guild is preparing to strike because of a lack of streaming residuals. I believe some exist, but they are small. I included a link abt this. Worth a google too. I should have been clear. They do give some, but at a tiny tiny rate compared to a traditional movie.
Also just a money issue. Widely reported Netflix gave him $1m per episode, or $8m per season. It takes lots of time/effort to shoot 8 full hours of VFX laden tv. Plus he had to bulk up and stay cut during the whole shoot.
Leave it to Kotaku to spread an easily disproven rumor because it’s popular.
Thanks!
Anyone know if I can play it on an original Xbox One?
Maybe, but his Black Adam cameo was filmed during an afternoon he took off of Witcher S3 filming. Can do both.
I really don’t know why everyone is saying he quit todo Superman or wasn’t happy.
I truly wonder what all the programmers/QA/HR/whatever think about all of this?
If their media department came and said “Hey, we are abt to be hit with stories from all the major gaming outlets saying we are jerks, but I can stop it all and turn the story positive for $50K (or whatever)” then any sane company would say yes..
For all this they should have just written Taylor a $30,000 check day 1 and ask her to post an ‘it’s all good now!’ post.
It’s still $100K per month, 220 hours, for 1 voice and $200K per month for multiple. Even if an actor works 1/12th the hours, they make a decent wage. Especially considering they don’t have to work 40 hrs per week 52 weeks per yr. And I work far more than that. That’s a benefit.
I was more referring to voice actors in general. It’s around $100K per month, 220 hours, so even if they worked 1/12th as much as me, they’d still make more.
I’m actually torn. The $450 per hour minimum is still $18,000 per week or $936,000 per year w/o bonuses or overtime. Or $36,000 per week and $1.8M per year for voicing multiple roles.
