Im arguing that vet QBs like Brady, Ryan, Stanford, Luck and even Smith could handle sitting for a drive, and that it may be more beneficial to the team for the backup to get reps while they are winning by a substantial margin than the harm of having the starters rhythm being upset.

I more mean this as a general comment as opposed to a TN centric idea. If The Patriots are up by 17, Tom Brady is good enough to be able to take a drive off while his backup gets some reps. Same with places like Atlanta, DC, Greenbay, NYG, Indy, Detroit etc..
