No, the point being missed is that you can play “Xbox exclusives” on non-Xbox hardware. I’m better off with a PC and a PS4 then I would be with a PC and Xbox.

You can play Forza on PC. There are a bunch of PS4 exclusives that you literally can’t play elsewhere. (Some you can stream to a PC/Mac, but that’s a gray topic considering it doesn’t matter too much what your computer is capable of since the processing is in the cloud)

I was burned by the last generations 1080p/HD hype and not falling for it again with this 4K marketing malarkey. I’m sure itll look great in another few years, but I’m not going to be the guinea pig consumer again. (Not to mention the TV makers don’t seem to have their own shit together yet)

What is the top level game like? While XCOM has a terrific turn based combat system, the meta game and macro descisions are what really pulls me in.
