It really feels like publishers think their audience is too dumb to realize they pump one new game out every year. It’s even more insulting when they are seemingly indifferent to the growing frustration with futurism trend of the series.

Most COD fans aren’t stupid. They know a new one will come out every year. They would at least like to be excited by the future of the franchise when they don’t like the direction of a single game. Doubley so when COD has been in a trend of getting more and more futuristic.
