Considering it’s basically a 6s, a while. Probably another 3-5 years

Everyone wants to talk about how shitty MEA is. ME original trilogy is more KOTOResque as it was designed by the same person

I’ll agree about companions. Idk about any final choices at MEA, but KOTOR doesn’t have an amazing choice either. The build up is probably better then MEA, but you basically just say “I’m good” or “I’m evil” at the end of the game, get a cutscenes, and roll credits. I don’t really remember any other meaningful choices

Best case scenario is a new game evokes Mass Effect 2. But without Casey Hudson and looking at the last ME and the last two DA games, I’m skeptical they could ever reach the same type of mass and critical approval.

I didn’t play it back then, tried a few years ago and could barely get past the first hour or so before losing all steam

I’ll take this time to point out in 2003 KOTOR was one of the greatest games of that generation, and wouldn’t fault you for putting into an all time list. Nearly 15 years later, I don’t know how well that game had really stood up overtime. Still a feat for that generation, but the light/dark mechanic is commonplace

Buying a $100 router will save you money long term vs the rental and equipment fees

This guy is the reason why I tell my fellow cord cutters to enjoy it while it lasts. He’s giving back all the control to the ISPs/TV companies who have a strong incentive to make cord cutting difficult, if not effectively remove the entire point of cord cutting.

I don’t normally complain about editing, but Christ who let this slip through?

Because they launched two consoles with different hard drives. If you were buying it as a blu ray player you’d get the $600 version

This trend will continue. I still can’t believe I can just watch people play through games where the story is the point. Heck, some people edit them into actual movies (shout out to the people who let me see the rest of the Last Guardian because I got so frustrated with Trico and sent my copy back)

It probably helped that the ED was a slow trickle for weeks and months compared to now when the competition amongst streamers demands the game be posted ASAP

To quote Del the Funky Homosapian, “Rhythm, you have it or you don’t, that’s a fallacy”

I only want a faster way to cook. If I walk up to a cooking pot, prompt me to either sit or cook. And when I select cook, pop up a menu of ingredients to mix (a tab with “known recipes” would be nice too. Allow the animations to be skipped, or incorporate the animation into the new cooking menu

The low quality thing seemed like a label they were never able to shake. By the late 2000s all of their stuff worked fine. Of course before then, everything would break shortly after the one year warranty

Really? I’ve been using that fightstick (i think it was the super rerelease) since it came out without an issue. I still use it hooked up to a Raspberry Pi for classic games

Point and click really isn’t that different either. Telltale just refined the hell out of the concept and streamlined it into this formula

How does it compare to NBA 2k RPG elements? Are you deciding to go party with teammates for better chemistry vs extra practice for skill points? Are you being roped into shady Energy Drink sponsorships? Does Spike Lee kill your best friend?

My girlfriend (now wife) introduced me to some of her friends who wanted to play and we have played one session every month or so for over two years now
