Annoyingly, you are probably right. BTW, this was an excellent response.

Ha sad but true. Plus, I love the Fit and this is essentially a really really tarted up Fit. Frankly, I think the combination of meh looks , high price, and FWD is what broke Jalopnik.
We may be witnessing something far worse. Maybe this is simply how it will end for BMW. Maybe the wonderful company we once knew has actually hit its zenith and is now on the long journey to has been status. It happened at Honda. Do not think it cannot happen here.
Those look like they belong on a 1997 GM sport activity vehicle with ALL the dealer installed options. In other words, a special edition GEO.
Don't be ridiculous. This is America! Deferred gratification is for socialists. The people want their car NOW! Also, don't give me any guff about researching what will likely be the second most expensive purchase I ever make.
If you do not mind me asking, which 911? I agree, 355 hp is more than enough.
The other NSX positive is that it is not ridiculously over powered like today's "performance" cars. One can enjoy this car as a Sunday pleasure rather than something that can only be enjoyed at the track.
This was a wonderful read. Thank you, Patrick. The words, "It's a car that values precision, finesse and balance over brute force. Getting the most out of an NSX means getting the most out of yourself as a driver." The sports car industry has all but forgotten these words, and it was a pleasure to see them…
Arch,
Gotta love that freedom!!!
Such a wonderful nation!

It is amazing how far the Cayman platform has come. Frankly, I always liked it,and the GT treatment made me love it.
Frankly, the best summary of the matter can be found in Motorsport magazine. Oct 2014 issue on page 20. Nigel Roebuck provided a very readable analysis of the situation and why the court suspended proceedings.
550 M. Wonderful GT. These had an excellent gated stick too!
It must be nice to be born with perfect judgment, reason, and maturity. We are all noble crusaders provided we have the comforting sheen of an iPad dividing us and those we are condemning. Next time I am on a winding two lane I will be sure to keep my XK 5 below thanks to our resident sage.
What do you guys think would be the bigger headache to restore/maintain?
Ah ok. Yeah, it is really weird the way enthusiasts models become kind of "shamed" by having narrow options and the worst of the worst equipment. I wonder how the Amarok would do over there?
This was a fantastic piece. Thanks for this.
