I HAD a 2.5SL with the CVT. Totally agree, it sucks. Traded for an ‘11 Legacy GT and havent looked back. The 3.5 is a great motor, i had an ‘02 Maxima with the 6 speed and that thing was a rocket. The treadmill tranny can kill any motor I think.
