Lol yeah the weather patterns are a bit weird. Maybe the Known World is Uranus (heehee), since seasons last about 20 years there.

His clothes are FABULOUS!!
As much as I enjoy Littlefinger's cunning plans, it would be satisfying to see Sansa find a way to orchestrate his downfall. Just trying to picture the look on his face when he finally loses the ability to scheme his way out of trouble.
True, but I'm sure it was still a little bit of a shock though. I think of relatives of mine that live in Florida that have never been able to tolerate visiting us in New England during the winter.
I'm surprised Dany's first reaction to landing in Westeros wasn't "IT'S A BIT COLD, IT'S A BIT COLD!!"
After all, she has lived in warm climates all her life….
Giant wasps? And no Peter Graves to fight/seduce them?
Lol Fraser was "Rick", Tom is "Nick", next we'll see Vin Diesel's "Dick" Riddick fight mummies. (Actually, that may not be too bad, action-wise anyway….)
Hollywood in general seems obsessed with rebooting everything "dark". Maybe they've been drinking a lot of Guinness.
And some grandpappy's may go for that sort of thing….we're not here to judge (who am I kidding, this is the A.V. Club, of course we're here to judge!)
"But it's GRITTY! It's EDGY! It's COOL!"

I enjoyed the 2000 Brendan Fraser one. It wasn't a perfect movie, but it was fun and the special effects were pretty cool for the time (plus the Universal ride, in pitch dark with the friggin' Mummy sand head, a lot of fun). This just looks grey and hopeless.
Ramnstein some beer down your gullet! METAL!!!!
As they said, "If we wanted to write a song about marijuana, we would have!"
I've been slowly working through Season 11 of MST3K. Oh boy, was Warriors of the Lost Kingdom hard to sit through! I longed for an overacting Jeremy Irons cameo.
I started a new (for me) anime my husband recommended. I am really enjoying Assassination Classroom! It has the right amount of surreal anime hijinks and (so…
Grunka-lunka-dunadee-ration,
We can't legally disclose what was our inspiration!
The opening song/scene of X-Files creeped me out when I was a kid.
But it was a puddy tat all along.
Season 2 was probably the one that the horror element worked best. However, I felt Murphy had too much going on (I could have done without the alien nonsense). I think his shows would be better if he'd cut down on the plotlines and really flesh them out, and not add extraneous crap mid season (i.e. the witchhunters in…
POINT/COUNTERPOINT!
I can't watch any of the Saw movies. The torture porn is a bit too much for me to handle.
I love that Manos is on the list. After all, it has all of my favorite horror movie elements: big knees, poodle meat, adorable Hellbeasts, Peeping Torgos, reenactions of The Battle of Pearl Harbor, full-contact nightgown…
