No he’s not. It died out within 2 years of one factory - Porsche - going all-out no-holds-barred with the 917-10 and 917-30 in 1972 and 1973. Prior to then, it was a fun place for Chevy big block sportscars with chassis that were mostly in parity with each other (the Chaparral being the one exception, and they were…
Sure, but Formula One doesn’t include a street homologated car that you have to sell to customers. Toyota is allegedly building the GR Super Sport for the street (concept below), which costs A LOT of money. Possibly more than a spot on the Formula One grid.
Bradley I think he has a point. Of those three you mentioned, only the McLaren was a real hypercar that went racing, and they only built 64 of them. The F1 just happened to be so successful and popular that it created a back-door prototype class around itself. The CLK GTR and GT1 were really race cars that were…
Given one day of testing, I don’t think either of these vehicles is up to both performance testing and range testing. There just isn’t enough time to fully drain and fully charge the battery that many times in a day. You’re talking close to 6 hours to go from empty to full to empty while obeying the speed limit, and…
In a way, the Cell saga WAS supposed to be an ending of sorts for the franchise. Toriyama originally envisioned keeping Goku dead after the Cell saga and shifting the focus over to Gohan as the main protagonist. Unfortunately, Toriyama was forced to pull a Sir Doyle move and resurrect his main character after a…
Aside from me innately not trusting anything you say because you think Goku is a bad dad despite claiming you’ve read the DBZ manga, I literally cannot argue or discuss this further with you if the very foundation of your opinion comes from:
They are hands down creators. Even using the bones of DBZ they added a ton of original time, effort and thought into the whole endeavour.
I would say its the better way to watch DBZ when you want to rewatch DBZ.
Does anyone else find it oddthat they compare their projects to actual franchises when they’re just overlaying referential parody dialogue over existing footage without changing the actual plot of the original material
Oh, DBZA had a DEFINITE effect on Super. Toei’s head honchos despised the group (hence why the main guys were banned from being cast in Funi dubs), but the writers loved it. The group tried to explain away some of the stuff as references to other Japanese memes or deep cuts into series lore, but the scene where the…
I can respect bowing out on this. Honestly they did amazing work for the three arcs they did and I often wondered if they would ever finish it given that few people have an emotional attachment to the Buu arc in the first place (myself included). I think opinions would be stronger if they stopped completley having not…
Dragon Ball Z Abridged as always the superior Dragon Ball experience.
It is a great looking car, but “the best looking McLaren”? No sir, you are wrong...
Years ago I had a friend say that “savage’ was offensive to her and her fellow indigenous people for many of the reasons Paul outlined above. So I stopped using it (not that it was really a regular part of my vocabulary anyway).
This was pre-decimalisation, so I suspect you’re right.
Wow I really need to drive one now because I thought the 1st Gen GTS was fantastic. It just had a really ugly butt. If the second gen is that much better, I’m intrigued.
That still costs you money, but you’ve already paid it.
I don’t think the design of the pink haired girl would even have existed in the 80's or 90's.
I wouldn’t say less detail. Less emphasis is more accurate. Older styles definitely exaggerate everything a lot more with heavier shading, thicker lines, and stronger highlights. Newer styles favour thinner lines, softer shading, simpler highlights, and are just generally smoother and softer looking.
