Huh. I thought Harley-Davidson was just a maker of plus sized clothing.

The difference is, a gun’s sole purpose is to shoot people. A car has many intended uses, none of which are to kill people.

The US has 300% more vehicle deaths per capita than Germany. How does Germany do that? Not with any of that BS you wrote about. They have strict licensing requirements and good transit infrastructure.

wait till you learn that you have to blow it every 15-30 minutes as well.

I hope I haven’t been doing my kids a disservice by telling them this, but I remind them periodically that businesses are not charities; they may preach “loyalty” and “family” and blah blah blah, but when it comes down to it, if they don’t meet their bottom line and they think you’re somehow responsible for that, they

So apparently Carvana has decided that the answer to their “We can’t run a used car online sales business” is “give up and buy a company that can”.

I will say that them delivering a car to you with a seven day test drive period and them coming to you to buy a used vehicle is really nice. I sold a vehicle to a dealership recently- got an online quote, took it in and I then had to haggle and shit over the price they offered to me in-person, which was two grand

Used car dealers are such a pain in the ass that a lot of people are willing to lose a lot of money simply for the convenience of not having to deal with one.

Actually, that was the deal that FDR struck for workers compensation.

But I want the kids to know that that’s not the way war is—that Top Gun was just an amusement park ride

Nah dude, it is 33 Billion to kill nazirussians. And from what I hear they have done a pretty good job so far, now imagine how it will be on the reciving end when this comes in.

I’m so glad that Putin is sending in Nazi military contractors to denazify Ukraine. That is what he's doing right? He's using Wagner Group contractors to do it, and Wagner Group is a Nazi organization. Right?

You should comment less, comrade.

It’s crazy how expensive the new GTI is. I had a ‘17 GTI Sport that was something like $27K (of course, those were the days when they went $2K under MSRP). Still, that equivalent GTI today, SE, is $37K. Sigh.

Well Honda’s trying to make max buck on the manual.  Not a bad idea.

No one cares about your Focus bro.

It’s really weird how ANGRY this car seems to make, as evidenced by a few threads here

I do, too, but it makes sense. It’s the only way they can justify developing and offering a variant that will likely sell in the teens or single-digits.

I’m more of a one-stop-shop guy.

I can see how Mazespin feels screwed. His dad bought him an F1 seat in the long-honored tradition of pay drivers, and now he lost it (along with all the money spent to buy him the seat) due to factors outside of his control.
