Hot studio lamps + 12 hour plus day = up to 8 liters a day of dwarf milk per dwarf. The foot holes were VERY important. As were hydration and the eventually built internal coolant systems of the suits. ^-^

That’s essentially what happened during The Hobbit. Full-body skin tight silicone suits that needed full-body talc to get into. Workshop had to drill holes in the bottom of the feet to let the several liters of accumulated “Dwarf Milk” out. (Thank you Graham McTavish for that phrase. You bastard.)

Ron Howard’s very much a Paint-By-Numbers Director and I’ve always found him to be really boring. Not to mention there’s almost always something egregiously wrong with the cinematography - like in the Da Vinci Code where the camera kept crossing the line!
