The answer is no. lol

Savage, Martha, and I love you for it.

“Scream it in the streets and run up to me at restaurants”. Ok, sure

People who actually make crafts are fucking FURIOUS about people who show up to “craft fairs” to sell their cheap MLM garbage. A lot of artisan/local craft fairs are now outright banning “direct sales” type booths because it takes away too much from people who are actually spending time making stuff to sell.

Yeah, I got roped into selling Cutco in college. I only sold a little bit since I don’t run in social circles that can afford $700 knife sets. I did have to buy my demo kit which I think was $120? But 15 years later I still have them and they are still holding up. They really are good knives but not an easy product to

The really scary thing is how much the MLMs control their image online. They have Google scrubbed for negative reviews, and sue everyone who uses the words “pyramid scheme” or claims to have lost money. For every MLM, if you google “is x a pyramid scheme?” or “is x a scam?” all the top results will take you to a page

Yes, I’ve been waiting for this book too. I’ve even been tempted to leave my current career to write it.

I was a young mom back in the AOL MomsOnline days (kids, get off my lawn!). I had a mom invite my son and I to the park for playdates. I thought we were so lucky to make friends with this doctor’s wife! She would always talk about her Discovery Toys business. I thought we were just making small talk. It took years

It’s apparently a big mormon thing which kind of by definition means its a white person thing. So, yes!

So, I sell LuLaRoe. I liked one of the dresses (the Julia is my jam and I wear it often), tops, and one of the skirts and thought I could be successful at it.

I went to a craft fair last weekend that was about 95% MLM booths. There were like, 2 booths with actual crafts. Scentsy, Young Living (which I actually love and the lady there was the nicest), Thirty-one or whatever those bags are, LulaRoe, etc.

I have equal amount LLR, Pampered Chef and R&F. the pushiest people are the shakeology/beachbody crew. They all want me to try their new group/program/team to lose weight now!

100%. I have a friend that is now doing 2 of them. I had to unfollow her on fb because I couldn’t take the constant discussion of her various LLR and now new products she is selling. And it is a pyramid scheme and how do you not realize that. They make you part of a team and try to get people under you to sell things.

Oh yes. Apparently essential oils have cured everything from bronchitis to bruises to constipation to allergies in her household! (Side note—I’m a little worried that she seems to have disavowed modern medicine in lieu of oil for her small children. You want to dab oil on your wrists and call your lung infection

I want to share my only person experience with MLM. I encourage others to do the same because these stories are entertaining.

A friend of mine made a FB post about MLM’s and the comments section was immediately clogged with paid posts by some shady internet reputation management firm, talking about how that particular company was WONDERFUL and enabled people to live their dreams, etc, etc, which was red meat to me. It went on for I forget

Yeah, when people are still critiquing his tattoos and bringing up the noise complaints these days, I’m like,

I’ve been saying that on here for years. She’s never actually done or said anything that should label her as a bad person. She even supports Planned Parenthood and BLM and will happily trash Trump directly using him name.

Kim gives the vibe she is a good person.
