In a sign that I have thought way, way too much about this, I tried to make sense of the completely contradictory continuity that the movies try to foist off on us, and pretty much decided that there are three levels to it (warning: this is fairly deep nerdery, even by AV Club levels):

For me, the Great Muppet Caper will always be the best. Charles Grodin! and, um, Charles Grodin! Also, 6-year old me waited the whole movie for the Baseball Diamond to be actually used for baseball, and the muppets did not disappoint.

I also didn’t like the implication that Kermit more or less abandoned all his friends for the past few years. The Kermit I know would never let Fozzie sleep on the streeet.

Once girls become adolescents you could describe them as young women. And why is using women and girls more cumbersome? Because it’s two words more? That’s not a very logical argument.

I suppose female rather than females. Women and girl humans are female. Tend not to be described as females collectively.

Oh, and the stuff exposed after Jimmy Saville in the UK got exposed was way weirder and more disturbing than this. Like their former prime ministers were going on boats with children, and then they would return, and there would be no more children on the boats. Like, WTF!!!
