Braking Bad (ly)

The E38 is the last good looking 7 series ever made. It was a handsome sedan, conservative without being stodgy. Just a beautiful and graceful large German sedan. The current gen 7 series looks very nice, until you walk around the front and see that horredous grille setup. Looks like Jaws the character from 007.

Here’s my take in this situation: The W123 300D and Volvo 240 are really well-designed machines that last as long as the family toaster oven purchased during the Carter administration. They were the benchmark of safety during their eras, and I still believe a lot of the safety principles applied to those cars are still

Andrew, I have a 3rd Gen 4Runner as well, and I am running PIAA LED bulbs, and I love them. They work well with stock housing (although I’m sure they would be far better in a projector housing, maybe later I’ll get to that mod), and as long as they are properly aimed, they are much brighter without the ricey blue or

Toyota T100 would be my vote. no need for a V6 (the 3.4L 5VZ-FE is a fantastic engine that lasts and lasts, but it’s not that much more powerful than the 2.7L 4 banger) or 4WD, and if it’s work truck you’re looking for, these trucks can be treated like shit, and still go 500k miles.

This is an incredibly good looking design. The only thing ruinign the look of the van is the KIA logo. Not that it’s bad because it’s a KIA, just the KIA logo. It desperately needs to be modernized to fit the look of the car.

Sell the XC for parts, as parts are expensive on those cars, and then fix up the Volvo 240. That car will never let you down. Scrap both American heaps.

This is a great list. It lets me know which cars to avoid buying, which, with the exception of Tesla, are all the cars on this list.

Any bike Harley makes that costs over $1,000 is crack pipe territory. For that money, way better performance and aesthetics can be had in two wheel form.

I see the pandemic as a huge drain on the environment. The potential for increased traffic is definitely a concern, as people won’t be comfortable traveling in public transportation for awhile. My company just mandated that we can only take direct flights, which means, if you live in a medium or small city with

My Dad had a 1968 Mustang with a 289 in it that he bought from an American GI stationed in Taiwan. I was born in Taipei, and that was the car that brought me home from the hospital. I always thought the car was black, because of faded red-tint photos taken in the 70s. But my dad told me it was actually a dark green.

Corona. The Arkansas of Southern California.

That’s what I was thinking as well. How the hell are there no cameras in the paddock areas and garages, with multi-million dollar equipment and supplies??

Nah, it all has to do with money. He’s protecting his assets and his investment interests. Richard Petty and probably 2/3 of the NASCAR world don’t give a flying fuck about racial equality. Get real.

It’s a valid suspicion, and even if none of them did it, I still wish NASCAR would just go away completely. It’s a pointless sport catered to the simple-minded. It provides an excuse and a catalyst for getting together and drinking shitty beer. That’s it. Four hours around an oval with billboards on wheels. BORING.

Rename the company to “Boomer FCA.”

You seriously scared me with the Chevy Sprint in the picture, with a headline that suggested both are coming back, perhaps partnering up together...

I’ll never understand the patina craze. To me, that truck would like gorgeous restored. The patina fad to me is probably started by some dudes that couldn’t afford a full restoration, but still want to present their classic vehicles as a relevant relic.

You lost me at “American Luxury.” One, Buick is not luxurious, and American luxury is gross.

I’m with Tom McParland and his pick. The 90s Delica 4x4 is the coolest van ever made.

Ford Transit Connect is the logical choice, next to the Nissan NV200. I’ve driven both, and I prefer the Ford, and I never prefer American brands.
