The E38 is the last good looking 7 series ever made. It was a handsome sedan, conservative without being stodgy. Just a beautiful and graceful large German sedan. Toyota T100 would be my vote. no need for a V6 (the 3.4L 5VZ-FE is a fantastic engine that lasts and lasts, but it’s not that much more powerful than the 2.7L 4 banger) or 4WD, and if it’s work truck you’re looking for, these trucks can be treated like shit, and still go 500k miles.
