Oh please, Iron Fist was not that bad. It was outrageously better than Luke Cage, the most boring superhero show to ever be created. If anyone brings The Defenders down, it will be him not Danny Rand.

Jessica Jones was a good show, many didn’t like it, but there’s no doubt in my mind she will be the best part of the Defenders. She’s going to be like the Mick from Legends of Tomorrow of the Netflix MCU. Her character’s interactions are already hilarious in this trailer, so it’s safe to say they’ll be even more epic…
I was worried about how they would organically bring all these characters together, but if the show is as perfectly put together as this trailer is, it will be awesome.
I think that’s kind of the point. This isn’t the Avengers or the Agents of Shield who have been working together for years now and know how to fight alongside each other. There’s a learning curve of how each one fights differently and how do the different pieces mesh together. It’s supposed to be a beautiful mess.
I am both freaking ecstatic for this and supremely depressed it will only be 8 episodes.
Because if any of these rich people trying to tell us we’re responsible for killing our planet were telling the truth, they wouldn’t all be riding on separate Boeing 747's to get to a conference about how we need to be careful of our carbon footprint.
Except that you’re literally comparing cars and planets. That’s worse than apples and oranges. The difference here is cars were made by humans, used exclusively by humans, and made to be taken care of by humans. The planet is pretty self-sufficient. It doesn’t require oil changes, or frequent check ups, it’s been…
The action looks awful, I’m not sold on her acting yet either though. She will be ok im sure, but it’s looking like it might be Trevor and Etta Candy that bring most of the levity and humor to this movie.
“Killer Frost’s arc may extend into season four”
Killer Frost is the best thing the Flash has going for them right now. All the other boring, 1-dimensional, idiotic character have gotten very old. Now we have a character with some depth.
Except this article isn’t about wiretapping, it’s about bashing Trump (unless “Cheeto in Chief” is now an acceptable title). Just like every other article that Giz can, in any form, relate back to Trump and how he is Hitler reincarnated.
I love Tom, but they literally kept around an awful and completely useless character just to keep the actor. He’s the worst character ever and doesn’t contribute to team flash in any way. At least when Merlyn was around he usually advanced the plot or added to the story in some way.
This show could have all the characters join a circus for all I care, as long as they bring back Eleven. That girl was one of the best young actors I’ve ever seen.
It works for the CW where it’s more campy and they want the option to bring back characters- and sometimes it really is pulled off well, like with Black Siren- but this does feel like an unusual fit for AoS where they generally have higher stakes and more serious/real world writing.
My bigger issue is, why does “uploading” herself to a human body suddenly free her of her constraints? It would be the same programming, just in a biological sense. Theoretically, it would still be impossible for her to do anything she couldn’t before. Nothing about how her mind works has changed.
1. Hell yes
Thanks for the spoiler, assholes. Some of us still like to be surprised.
I agree, not killing Merlyn after what he did to Sara was always a joke as far as writing goes. But his material in Season 3-4 was really good, the few times they used him. He’s a snakey asshole, but at the end of the day he did love his daughter. And I always enjoyed his interactions with Laurel (especially since she…
Yeahhh I wonder if the writers actually meant it that that way. If so that’s a pretty asshole move. Especially since, if my memory serves, that scene was with David Ramsey, Katie Cassidy, and EBR- two of whom are the some of the best actors on the show (hint: it’s not EBR).
I’d bet money he’s getting killed off in Arrow’s season finale. Probably to save Thea. Which is a shame, Merlyn is one of the best written character’s Arrow has ever had. I don’t even know whether to label him a true villain or anti-hero or what. He has had some riciulously thick plot armor, but I can overlook that.
