unless a creator intends to say something about race, fictional characters tend to default to white

Being Asian isn’t necessary either, except that it’s counter-intuitive to an adaption of the comic book material. This isn’t complicated

Except you can’t whitewash a character who was white to begin with. This idea that a character HAS to be asian instead of white is racist in and of itself. And continuing to attack the show for being faithful to the comics is an asshole move. IGN is just trying to hop on the bandwagon for clicks, everyone knows this

The animated JL/U universe is VASTLY under rated in my opinion. Every single DC character I see in live action I automatically compare against the JL cartoons, because they nailed every single character. Especially Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl (I would’ve given anything to have a JL-cartoon-style Hawkgirl on Legends of

James is Supergirls’ Felicity. The fans all hate him while the writers somehow think we all love him.

Guggenheim also shared some concept art of Felicity Smoak’s superhero costume.

I’m pretty sure I remember reading that it’s something Oliver will admit, therefore he already knows it, therefore it’s not some secret about having a half brother or an evil father.

In a society of super-strong women without men, what point would they have in covering themselves up? So that the feminist Amazon’s won’t get upset that they’re tempting their sisters by being too revealing?

I’ve always wanted Mirror Master as a big bad, but his introduction earlier this year was so bad/bland/tasteless/boring I don’t even want him back on the show at any level, much less as the big bad.

I will say there is an easter egg—it’s more than an easter egg, it’s a little bit more obvious than that … that I think fans are really going to love it. And not necessarily fans of comics, but let’s say fans of cartoons.

I am so hyped, but this does also seem like like a really awkward episode. Like where you know you’re enjoying but feel dumb/guilty because you are enjoying it.

Best bet is Gotham City Sirens. Would probably be the quickest and easiest to film as well as the most anticipated.

Episode 21 of the season is titled “Honor Thy Fathers.”

I’ve been saying for months they should get rid of having four different shows, and just have four nights of “Justice League”.. That way you can have any combination of characters doing any combination of stories with any combination of big bads... Would be freaking awesome and probably easier than trying to juggle 4

That was the worst episode of the entire season to me. Supergirl is at it’s best when it’s avoiding any kind of romance drama, similar to Arrow. Melissa Benoist is an amazingly charming actor with a very wide range, why would you keep dragging her down into these simplistic love story tropes?

I would agree, except for Legends. It’s DC’s best show at the moment, and one of the best comic shows right now period. It’s crazy to think that the same people that are writing that awesome show are also writing the mess that is Arrow. It’s had so much potential this season, but continues to screw it up.

That’s kind of like asking why does the sun come up every 24 hours and perfectly fit within what we define as a “day”. You’re looking at it backwards. We created the concept of a day to define what the sun does every 24 hours. Same with mathematics. It’s a language we created to understand what the universe was

So taking a picture of a black hole is so difficult because theres so much light it makes it hard to see the black hole itself? Kinda like taking a picture of somebody’s shadow while a flood light is being pointed at the camera lens

From the leaked set pics we’ve seen they’re going full insane color. It’s also easy to make that look awful though. Which is why I think they should get ahead of the ball and just release the promo pics already.

Really?? It’s one of the best comic shows on television right now. Most people I talk with agree. It actually feels like it’s written for adults, unlike most comic shows on the CW.
