I like your idea of going easy on the first two and then perma-death for Birthright. I was thinking about how long it may take to get through all those games. I may do the same!

The way you just described (baby mode for Birthright, slightly-less baby mode for Conquest and normal, permadeath for Revelation) is exactly what I plan to do for the exact same reasons. Ain’t nobody got time for that, especially when there are so many other games, comics, movies, TV and work vying for my attention.
