I still think a $199 price point with a Pro controller (and the option to buy the GamePad later would go a long way). I work at Toys R' Us and the amount of people that physically laughed out loud or said "Hell no!" when I told them the price of the Xbox One or PS4 was surprising.
Looks more like Trevor's area from GTA 5.
I work at Toys R' Us and we sell Xbox 360 4GB Slim S', 250GB Slim S', 4GB Slim S' w/Kinect, 4GB Slim E's, PlayStation 3 Slim 160GB, PlayStation 3 Slim bundles, PlayStation SuperSlim 12GB, SuperSLim bundle with Last of Us/Arkham Origins 250GB (I think), Wii U Deluxe w/NintendoLand, Wii U Basic with Skylanders, Zelda…
In my opinion, Enslaved did The Last of Us before The Last of Us did. By that I mean story-driven, emotional male-female duo in a post-apocalyptic America with a heavy focus on mo-capped performances and nuanced and subtle story-telling. There are many differences of course, but I feel like the things The Last of Us…
Getting back into FFXIV, DmC (thanks PS+), and thinking about trying Metal Gear Rising.
Yes, which obviously skews to a younger demographic being a toy store and all. That is why I didn't make any statement about what that means about global sales or any other sort of blanket statement. I was just offering a little anecdote about my personal experience.
Not true. The Wii U's I've been selling are the brand new Mario U + Luigi U bundle, so they are newly manufactured.
I work in electronics at ToysRUs and I've sold more Wii U's this holiday season than any other gaming console.
Wii U uses 3 and a half times less power. That's pretty neat.
I would murder a reasonably good person for this.
The best gameplay of the year, undoubtedly.
I quite enjoy the interface, but it is obvious on both my PS4 and Xbox One that those things were racing to the finish line and planned to fix and add most stuff post-launch.
I disagree.
I had to reset today. Made me very nervous.
I'm enjoying both so far. PS4's UI is a bit of a mess, but Xbox One's isn't a homerun either; both UI's are simplified but not always for the better. My PS4 makes an awful audio popping noise when it first comes on. I'm disappointed in Killzone, more frustrating than fun. COD and AC4 play well and look decent on PS4.…
Reading this thing made my eyes roll.
The whole "Nintendo isn't proving the point of the GamePad" argument is such a lazy one. Nintendo is offering a console with traditional controls, and an extra twist. "Not a very good Wii U game"? It is a good game, for the Wii U. Therefore, it is a very good Wii U game. Arguing that Nintendo has something to prove…
I'd take Kameo over Knack any day.
I can confirm that it doesn't look any prettier on PS4. Though oddly, there is a multiplayer map on PS4 that I think looks great.
