Interpretation is totally subjective and I completely understand why someone wouldn't find it offensive, even within context. There are multiple sides to every argument.

I think the problem with the merchandise was not that it referenced a comic strip, but that in context with the larger controversy it is a symbol of a group of people (Penny Arcade and dickwolf supporters) that are dismissive and indignant in regards to criticism on behalf of rape victims.

That is a good point that some of the original critics also made. The joke could have easily been made with a less-sensitive subject, and still retained the actual punchline AND avoided controversy.

I never said Penny Arcade's comic was laughing at the victim. When I state that rape jokes are fine as long as they are not targeting the victim, I am clearly speaking about general comedy; which is why I said the joke in the comic is fine.

Actually I know that they are. 1 in 6 men are sexually assaulted by the age of 18. That is the low-end estimate.

I AGREE that rape is POSSIBLE subject for comedy. I am simply advocating that the VICTIMS of Rape should not be the target of said comedy. Rape, the criminal act, should be the target.

Minecraft on the Wii U could potentially be great. I don't know why they won't do it. Imagine inventory management (on a console) that doesn't suck. And actual crafting!

The soundtrack is phenomenal. I'm a casual FF fan so I don't know what's reworked classics or new songs but I am loving it all.
