There is a difference between sensationalism and passion for the movement. Some people just don't know where the line is. They're not bad people, just ill-informed. I can personally attest that it's very easy to succumb to the hive-mind mentality of "The bag guys are over there, get 'em", especially when you're young…

It's a mixed bag. Being gay myself, I wasn't particularly offended that they didn't include the option, but i can see how some of the more militant lgbt community would take issue with it. personally, i'd prefer that we got to that point naturally, but unfortunately in this world that doesn't happen very often.
