I felt that while StormBlood had good villains, the split campaign story really hurt it. It didn’t feel focused at all. That said, the side stories with Omega and Ivalice have been really good. Enjoyed those very much.

To me, the toxicity comes from the fact Blizz tried to make a mobile game the signature announcement of Blizzcon. Whoever decided that should be fired because obviously, he/she is completely out of touch with the base. The base (ie. the people paying a thousand bucks to be at your show) don’t want to see a mobile…

I’m a long time WoW player but I can’t help but feel underwhelmed and disappointed with the WoW announcements. I appreciate that they’re giving Gnomes and Nagas the spotlight but I don’t think the time is right for that. Needed to stick with the faction stories and how they end....

Maybe Blizz should’ve taken a page from the Riot book and have an “Overwatch Dacin All Night Game” serve as their signature Blizzcon announcement instead of that joke of a Diablo game :P
