I think this is fair. I’d argue that FF14 should do a free level boost every xpack as well cause you want people to hit the latest content as much as possible. Also, by doing so, it would allow them to unlock newer jobs right away instead of having to start over completely.

I blame the CG artists for the Tarkin debacle. The filters were all wrong. The style was all wrong. We have the technology to do better but the artists just effed it up.

At the end of the day, it’s a business. Nintendo has to do what’s best from a risk/reward point of view. Sure, they could’ve shipped out more NESes and made more today but what if it DIDN’T happen. They would’ve incurred a massive cost and stuck with a bunch of units that nobody wants.
