I like Edge of Tomorrow a lot, but the 3 I mentioned are the holy trinity. He plays roles wildly different from the sympathetic protagonist. This is a bit simplistic, but you might be judging the band off the radio singles.

I've come to believe Stan won't ever find out, so set are the writers to deny us traditional payoffs. I mean, why do a "slow" season that isn't heavy on Stan/Phillip?
