From what a Michigan State trooper told me when I accidently rear-ended a trailer hitch (from braking and diving so much/hard):

The person in the rear is ALWAYS the responsible party. Driving up from behind to pass someone in a no-passing zone is NOT a “guilt-free” decision/course of action.

Both assholes but one is murdering asshole. Wouldn’t want to meet either but if had to choose would definitely go for the non murdering one.

There is no defense for what that would-be murderer did. He was obviously looking to harm somebody, and I don’t think it would have mattered a whit to him if there had not been a double yellow. He would have done the same thing.

But one is much more of an asshole, I hope you understand that. I feel like this is a problem these days. Someone does something bad, someone does something a lot worse, but because both things are bad we equate the two things in our mind, not understanding that there are different levels of bad.

And the right reaction to someone being an asshole and passing on a double yellow is a good honk of the horn and a mobile finger out the window while saying, what a dumb ass. Not trying to kill them.

No, passing on a double yellow is being an asshole. Swerving to intimidate and kill is [attempted (edit)] murder. Asshole is much lower on the scale.

Simply no sympathy for either person. Two assholes on a road being assholes. Both were bound to get fucked.

Whoa my god is that a solid?

Fun fact, this exact reason is the same reason NSW highway patrol dismissed Mustangs to replace their fleet of Ford XR8 and Holden SS highway cars.

I say this is a bullshit move by Ford. I read and article where the Camaro V6 1LE beat the Mustang GT Track Pack around a road coarse partly because the Mustang GT Track Pack would have its differential over heat and the V6 camaro had a differential cooler. Also the Camaro V6 shares its transmission with the big dog

The tranny didn’t.

I went to BestBuy to purchase a TV.

To be fair though, the car lasted longer than 30 seconds.

I know the feeling. I hit limp mode a coupla times when I overheated, too.

The room full of Ford fans that has been loudly mouthing off about heat soaking Chevys for the last 2 years, just got real quiet.......

Does Ford get to hide behind the notion that their “track ready” Mustang wouldn’t experience the conditions that put these cars into limp mode during normal operations?

Yes... Yes, they do.

That’s a typo. The SS doesn’t have a ZL1 package, just the 1LE package that gives it the ZL1's suspension. The V6 also has a 1LE package that gives it the SS’s suspension.

Do dive planes and a wing make every car better? Yes
