Even more impressive when you consider in 2003, this thing had more power than a Civic Si. Color me beige.
I digress. Both ad's pretty much say "blah blah blah is awesome. Go USA." Then they zoom out to the shiny Jeep/Ram and you realize it's a freaking car ad. If they want to make a car ad, make a car ad, not something that's disguised as some kind of patriotic PSA.
ESPECIALLY in a car like this I would think.

A few points of note here:
My $20 Panasonic does the job. It doesn't stick as long as you wait 15 minutes after the power stops before lifting the lid.
I think it's because Apple's philosophy is to minimize choices, as too many choices can be paralyzing (which I agree to an extent).

I think a more macroscopic solution is realizing what you already have, instead of what you don't have. I know it's an old cliche and easier said than done, but it's true.
