A friend and I have used the "I….quit! [snap snap] I quit! [snap snap]" line way too many times.

Huh—did you walk right up to it (well as near as possible), or just drive by? Because when I visited, I did find the scale to be massive and quite awe-inspiring.

Yes you have.

I think they moved to King's Landing.

I think this sentiment is voiced every time that happens, and yet…

Maybe they were thinking, "Rey is smart, and Monopoly is a boring-ass game, even with the overhyped auction rules, so she chose to sit it out."

The only vague spoiler, like that action figure, was showing Rey in the end costume with the lightsaber. Jakku outfit would have been fine, she wore it most of the film, so I don't buy that excuse from them.

But they mostly deal in current subject matter, no? Burns primarly does deep American history, where photography (or prints/paintings) was the primary means of documenting people and events. The Civil War didn't exactly produce a lot of film footage; photographs and documents are pretty much all there was to show.

I honestly can't tell if you're being sarcastic. Please tell me if you're being sarcastic or not, so I know whether to explain what a documentary is or laugh along.

Woman inherits the earth.

No, that would have been ever worse tiny-universe coincidentalness.

You just repeated a joke that was in the actual article.

Yup.

Perhaps, but if some of the anecdotes I've been seeing are true, that young girls everywhere are looking to her as THIS generation's Luke/hero/role model, then I'm ok with it.

I knew that was gonna happen and it was still fantastic.

That he spent months growing out his beard for a dialog-free shot is nothing short of astounding.

"Rey leaves less of an impression"
No, just…no.

I gathered he slammed the trunk on his head, then pulled the Billy Batts.
