'My iPad crashed' will be the new 'dog ate my homework'

Isn't 'endorsed by the Kardashians' an admission of a scam?

@collex: Well I don't really care for movies where story and character development take a back seat to special effects, so I don't really know if any movie with that description would be a favorite of mine since I think they're all equally uninteresting. I mean Die Hard didn't take a back seat to character or story.

Who's Robbie?

@collex: 'Action movie' is such a nebulous term that I can't answer that. You yourself included two movies about terrorism and one sci-fi film.

@shawnwilkesbooth: That's not the irrational stuff I was talking about. Again, I said I liked Heath Ledger's Joker. The stuff with Two-Face was really hard for me to buy.

Isn't this how Skynet started?

@EnochLight: Sigh. Fine. Here's a pie chart to illustrate my point.

@FaultyWires: Well... I would argue that Nolan's first Batman film suggested that they are not supposed to be over-the-top since it was the first superhero film I've ever seen that was conspicuously rational. He didn't do that for the second one, which was a bit jarring.

@FaultyWires: Actually, in the old Superman radio series, the actor always changed his voice when he became Superman. It worked quite well.

@FaultyWires: I thought the story was sacrificed in favor of action, the characters were wooden, Christian Bale mumbled his lines, the part with Harvey Dent was just silly... pretty much everything other than Heath Ledger really.

I like Die Hard. It's a fun action movie. It is hardly one of the best movies of all time.

@FaultyWires: I didn't enjoy The Dark Knight and I liked Batman Begins. I guess if I was a reviewer, you would claim I was 'trying to look like I know something everyone else doesn't' rather than just someone who didn't like the movie.

@TemporalSword: Some reviewers can give insights into films even if you don't agree with them. Roger Ebert does that for me quite often.

@TnOdyssey001: If people didn't care what reviewers had to say, there wouldn't be so many people paid to review movies.

That's one hell of a Marvel/DC crossover.

@ShanaLD: I have found the best solution ever to not having JWs and the like bother you- move to a place with a 94% hispanic population when you can't speak Spanish. The second they find that out, they go away.

@EnochLight: Plenty of things that are okay to eat are not okay to inhale.

I love the tagline for Young Justice-

@EnochLight: No, I'm more than implying that silicon dioxide is not toxic to eat and might possibly be beneficial.
