@Clarox: Reasoning? Shouldn't? It's just based on my observing how, in general, we treat the sci-fi and fantasy of the past.

@MissJudyDark: No, that did make sense. I remember that line. It actually felt really out of place to me even though it was funny.

@Kitsune-Hazard: You don't need huge farms to farm insects. In fact, there are a lot of urban insect farms which supply them to pet stores and garden centers.

@Jonas72: Would you be able to chew and swallow a cow if it still looked like a furry mammal? It's all in how you prepare things.

@mattrkbgkf: Water bugs have a really awful gin/perfume taste, but I've also had longicorn beetle larvae which taste almost exactly like pecans.

@Matthew Kidd: The Zune HD is a branding project. The original Zune was an attempt to replicate the success of the iPod. It failed.

@Jenn2D2: Blade Runner is too recent. You need to look back at stuff like 1930s Flash Gordon serials to see what I'm saying. Most people only enjoy those to laugh at them.

This is how we monitor space, not control it.

This makes me wonder if people in a future space-based culture would really enjoy sci-fi movies set in space considering how totally wrong they are about basic facts.

@JimmyBanks: I was just pointing out that this is pretty typical for them. Get your panties out of that twist.

@TheNobleRobot: Good thing I'll never, ever have to see that other 10% ever.

@JimmyBanks: Because Microsoft has a history of copying Apple products- Windows after Mac System OS, the Zune after the iPod (they originally even said it would be an 'iPod killer'), etc.

Microsoft taking an Apple product and making their own version a little later? Why does this sound so familiar?

Oh good. I was hoping my web browser would lack the ability to see certain web content. Thanks!

@Brian Kane: I never talked about the number. All phones drop calls once in a while.

@AngryBeaver: How dare Gizmodo post articles they want to post when they want to post them! The bastards!

If your phone has ever dropped a call, you own a cell phone.

I wonder if Loughner is pissed off that she survived or if he just doesn't care?
