It’s because we are dull and boring. There, we said it, are you happy now?

What are they hiding?

lol. I certainly don’t give a shit about the people concerned with building wealth at the expense of the public sphere. Got me!

Yup. I’m not rich, but I probably will be one day if I continue to earn like I am. I live in the US and support four people (including two elderly people) in a developing country in which one

This is what Mark Zuckerberg has also done. It’s all really good support for the notion that people should not be able to accumulate this much wealth to begin with.

I have read two articles about this now, and one thing keeps troubling me: it’s no longer the “white man’s burden” but the “rich man’s burden.”

This is why piracy reigns supreme.

That, and all too often, those “campus health resources” are staffed by people who are ultimately your peers, earning credit toward a degree in the related field.

Okay, I will be the jerk that asks the question:

Check again. Guards got tired of having to go against guys who had nothing better to do than pump iron all day.

I have no problem with Musk smoking a joint on his own time, and his choice to smoke pot or not smoke pot is irrelevant to his role as CEO.

Coss Marte mastered the no-equipment workout.

Basically, it’s easier to just pen an op-ed saying everyone thinks the president is unfit to serve than to actually convince those in assessing his fitness to serve that he is. For comparison, The Atlantic published the account of a staffer who was worried about Reagan’s suitability:

Bill Clinton was the most crooked, dishonest president in American history and still get to finish his term after being impeached. Why would you want to remove a President who is actually keeping - or trying to keep - the promises he campaigned on?

Oh God please no. I mean, Trump is bad, but can you imagine President Pence?

Ridiculous article; you continue to show why 1/2 the country thinks the left is hysterical, unhinged, and incapable of presenting any platform other than hating Trump. I gave up on and quit the GOP nearly a decade ago, and have open-mindedly voted across the aisle since then. Now though, it will be a cold day in hell

Thanks Beth, your article serves as journalistic lodestar to the rest of this nation.

If democrats need an “app” to mobilize friends to vote in the upcoming elections, we are doomed.

I do think it’s pretty amusing you were able to track down the one English lit major that has a job in a related field without benefit of a graduate degree.

This movie made less money on opening weekend than United Passions - the FIFA movie about how awesome Sepp Blatter and FIFA are. That movie made $319 on opening weekend, and it cost $30 million. No worries because FIFA financed almost all of it.
