No. She took the kids, too.

Could not have said it better myself. I loved the first two games and this is the greatest game ive ever seen.

That sort of ADD gaming always makes me feel anxious, like I am constantly missing out on something else. I felt like that the moment the game gave me freedom, and then the godawful controls convinced me that this game would be the worst sort of addiction: one I can’t even enjoy when I feed it

You’re demanding less for your money?

Perhaps you missed the results of develop a game that massive? GTA V made enough money to pay for itself tenfold, and I think the Witcher is on its way to do the same. Good games sell forever. Skyrim is still selling copies and it came out in 2011.

Apparently some people preordered the PC version of the game based on a video of the unfinished product from two years ago and when the finished game ended up being more down-to-earth and less superior than they expected to the lowly console versions, they feel betrayed and are throwing the biggest hissy fit

I said “shit” aloud when I got to Skellige and saw how big the map was. Then I sailed a boat over to the island where the master armorer tools were, but had to swim halfway because my boat got sunk by harpies.... games are fun.

This game is an absolute pleasure and should be the standard every open world game made in the future goes by.

Except with Skyrim the voice acting wasn’t as good, many of the locations did not have quests associated to them, and most quests just ended and had no impact in the world. So many quests in Witcher III have some impact on the world, such as additional merchants being available, continuation of lives of people you

I felt that Dragon Age Inquisition was a huge game, but the world felt empty and boring in some parts, but The Witcher 3 doesn’t seem that way to me, lots of quests and stuff to do. I haven’t felt a.d.d in a video games since maybe Red Dead Redemption.

Not really. Skyrim gets really repetitive after a while because you do the exact same things over and over again. There aren't really any fetch quests in Wild Hunt, and those that do exist are hidden by excellent storytelling. Can't really compare the two.

If you are using a controller. Yes. If you are using a keyboard and mouse. No.

If the ‘downgrade’ made the game play as well as it does, as enormous as it is, as detailed and complex as I’ve ever seen an open-world game, the side-quests as compelling and narratively beautiful as they are, while still looking better than any other open-world game I’ve played (GTAV is close on PC)...thank-you

Where as I have yet to finish any of the story regarding triss, dandelion, or ciri and am happily level 15 running around collecting school of cat witcher gear. It’s all how you play I guess haha

Combat was so boring in Dragon Age. It was fun some levels in then it got repetitive. So repetitive that I avoided enemies. I gave up early in the story and uninstalled the game.

The interesting thing is a lot of the books you find in on shelves and stuff are taken from the actual books the series is based on. In the city where you find Triss there is a shop that sells a copy of “The Last Wish” which is basically just a heavily condesnsed version of the short story about how Geralt met

Only Witcher 3 has actual meaningful content and actual quests (minor sidequests often give you dem feels), while Inquisition is just a huge waste of time with the absurd amount of fetch quests that have often not much more than a small note in the journal.

So I say screw Inquisition and play The Witcher 3 because the

Actually, no. This is the first game, in a long time, where I wanted to read every book, explore, and do every side mission available, while taking my time. This game compels me to be the adventurer. I haven’t felt like that since Morrowind. I thought Dragon Age Inquisition, a great game in its own right, would be

I think that is definitely a contributing factor. It could be true for quite a few people I know.
