Well, I disagree. Lower-middle class looks like unattainable wealth to those who grow up in poverty. And the people you know, the places your family and friends hold in the workforce, they are often very different from others who come from wealthier backgrounds.

It does, but as a white man that grew up in poverty and was always the minority in my communities and schools, I think it’s more of a class issue than a gender or racial issue. Poor people in general do not have the social connections to benefit like those from more well-to-do social classes.

Nepotism benefits anyone on the receiving end. If we’re to talk about nepotism in China, your statement would be false. You are correct, due to demographics in the US (I am assuming you are talking about the US), but that doesn’t mean nepotism is a racial issue.

I think the issue of nepotism or cronyism is a valid concern, but not sure it’s limited to a racial issue. Qualified people of all genders, races and cultures are in the same position when it comes to merit versus connections in the workplace.

That is just not true. I have a 2011 first gen Asus Transformer TF101 tablet. Exact same res as this Amazon tablet. Comics and graphic novels look great on it. I also have a 5.5” One Plus One with a 1080p screen, and you cannot read the same comics with the same ease, because you are forced to pan and zoom.

To really take advantage of the expandable storage, install Cyanogen 12. I agree, it’s an awesome deal for 35/50 bucks ONCE you have rooted it and flashed it. Cyanogen has the ability to move apps to the external card baked into the OS.
