It's true that the majority of older games don't take advantage of the extra cores of the i7, but the parts I laid out were selected to make the PC not only play Watchdogs with the high visual fidelity seen in the video, but to also accommodate future games as well. There's going to be a big jump in developing games

Well, you are right, but I was looking towards future-proofing and overall performance. If I was going to downgrade the RAM and HD, I would put the money towards a top-of-the line motherboard. Never splurge on mobos, CPUs or PSUs.

Well, that's patently false. Are you serious or trolling?

I was just trying to make the budget work, and it does. I never splurge on Mobos either. I always go for the top-of-the line Asus enthusiast models at the time. But, this build will give you a top-of-the line gaming PC (when it comes to running exisitng and near-release games) for under a grand.

The build is aiming towards future-proofing, and the 100 dollars for the 770 would be better off upgrading the card down the road. The i7 is a no-brainer, not sure what your point is about that. GPUs aren't the only factor in performance and the CPU is often the bottleneck. The same can be said of the RAM. I suppose

You can build a machine that will run this in that budget range, no problem. All items found on Amazon:

Actually, YOU just had a great idea. That is a pretty damn good one. You should contact Child's Play, Penny Arcade, etc. and see if you can get someone to try it out. I always donate to charities at convenience stores, grocery stores, etc. I would have no problem throwing a little extra cash towards a game purchase

I'll make sure to give them the lion's share of my money if I see them on a bundle deal. Nice work.

Women know if their attracted to you within a few minutes. Everything else is just situational variables. I used to run around around a lot when I was younger (I'm in my mid-30's), got married young, divorced about two years ago and moved to a large metro area where I didn't really know anyone.

I have. Excellent game. The expansions are over-priced, but the base game is incredibly fun and the concept has broad-appeal; it's one of those games just about anyone can enjoy. It's not limited to a niche audience.

The Acer Aspire V3 is a decent deal, but I picked up the V5 version (i5 CPU with 6 gigs of ram and a 720m gpu) for 500 on Amazon last month for 530, without a rebate and free shipping. I also have last year's version with the 620m. It's on sale right now on Amazon for 570.
