I’d like to see more content in general. Seems kinda light over the last year or so.

Well, now I want a better ratchet and my wallet hates you.
Same. If I know I’ll use a tool a lot, I will spend a few bucks more on it. It also depends on the price difference. If the top level tool is only like 20% more, I’ll probably spend that for a better tool.
Hold on, hold the phone, does this mean QOTD is back?!?!
I’m “buy cheap first, buy expensive second.”
Can we bring back cotd today just for this?
Before weed was legal they were a great way to find the guy who was carrying in a rural town.
I still remember an (Autoweek?) review of the 318 from the mid 1990's saying, “It’s only got XXX horsepower but we don’t care because the manual transmission is a joy to operate.” And I’m saying to my self F**K you, reviewer, it’s under-powered and your BMW bias is showing.
I can assure you a 318 wasn’t a blast to drive and was as poorly received by enthusiasts as a modern FWD BMW.
The lead photo with the red 318ti brought back many memories of a simple 4 cylinder with 5 speed and rear wheel drive that was a blast to drive. Actually, I am glad it is not coming stateside.

I had the opportunity to do a few laps (as a passenger) in one of the cars owned by Hendrick. This is exactly how I felt watching this video.
And while that’s impressive, the most impressive trick an F1 driver can do is dial the mechanical sympathy way up and cause way less tire & brake wear than a punter like you and I, yet only lose a fraction of their lap time... and obviously still be so much faster than us even though we think we are on the limit.
I buy that like I buy when Michael Jackson was married.
Maybe it’s just me, but there’s a difference between selling to a private party and trading in. If I’m trading in a car, the dealer has trained mechanics, readily available diagnostic equipment, and a lift. If I’m asked a question, I’ll answer it honestly but I’m not volunteering them any information. With a private…
I’ve very seriously bounced around the idea of the MINI EV. It is cheap enough that I could daily it all electric and just drive the 4Runner when I’m traveling on the weekends (which is when I want the space and the ability to head back into the mountains where a charger wouldn’t be available). An EV GTI would also…
That is soooooooooooo “Summer 2016.”
