Aww! I sympathise! I saw the exorcist at 13, in our mini fleapitour cinema. Most of my families women had worked there at one time or another, including my mum, so I was practically brought up there. Anyway, I wangledted a private showing of the exorcist

I do think it was poorly handled. However, all the carping that went on  just deflected from excellent performances by both actors. 

No disrespect to Chadwick boseman. Even Anthony Hopkins paid tribute to him. Hopkins himself clearly did not expect to win. But the whole attitude around this has been churlish, and that sullied bosemans memory. Because I can bet that he wouldn’t have been a sore loser had he lived yet failed to win. 

I love Harold and maude. Ruth Gordon was tres foxy!
