@Pigasus: I'm so sorry. I have had several experiences like that with mine. The worst one was about a year ago. This may have more to do with something she is going through than it does with you - you just might be in the terrible position of representing something to her that she is struggling with (or similar).

@petlamb: THANK YOU. I have had forehead lines since I was probably 13. I didn't even realize they were "wrinkles" until, in my 20s, people started pointing them out. It's ridiculous! My dad got them when he was young too. I am tired of being told to wear sunscreen (which I have daily since I was 12). I AM!

@TryScience: I don't know, though. It's probably better to cut a sixteen-year-old some slack here. Where do you think she picks up the excessive snarking? She's probably surrounded by it all day at school and everywhere else. Even if you didn't mean it snarky, it still sends the message that her body is something

@Misiula: Exactly! No one ever remembers those!

@Apricot_Poodle: I don't remember the details (though I vaguely remember what you're talking about). But I thought I'd heard a co-worker say Think Geek was actually offering it now and I just checked their website, and there it was! [www.thinkgeek.com]

@najmah: the mere mention of "carry on my wayward son" makes me swoon for dean winchester. so thx!
