Meh. I can’t get too worked up about this. Tweeting the picks a minute early than its announced just doesn’t bring enough benefit to justify spoiling the entertainment aspect of the draft.

I’m no ESPN fan (though as a Canadian we don’t even have it up here, though we get their draft coverage) but is this really a bad policy? Is it so bad for me to want to be able to interact with people on Twitter during the draft (which is fun) without seeing someone tell me who is about to be picked 20 seconds before…

My response to this, on some level, anyway, is to grow up. Why does anything think ESPN should be the New York Times? I never watch the guy because I hate his affect. But apparently enough people like him or enjoy hate watching him that it works for ESPN.
