Well if she had put down in job applications that she was black and her drivers license said she was black and she did all she could do to look black - then it wasn’t a matter of her saying “I’m black” to start her experience with people.

She made her claim in a very much white majority county court in Washington State. With a white judge.

There are cases where people claim to be races they are not. And they’ve gotten away with it throughout history. People who are not white claiming to be white. I guess you would blame their success on claiming to be white on white supremacy that they can legitimately steal being white. Whew.

She had to go to court and prove the abuse. A white court took a white child from his parents and gave him to her - practically a child herself.

Remember, when you read the story, it is through a lens that slanted the story from the beginning. And they were successful. After all, it seems like you are indicting her for “she’d at least try” and “figuring out how to be an ally while white.”
