I've tested the AutoIt Script compiled into a EXE, in Windows 7. It works great. I have been looking for a way to map a key to CTRl+C and another to Ctrl+V, but this works even better. I wonder why cool things like this don't come prebuilt into the OS. #tips
I prefer the Chromatab Plus extension. It automatically gives the tab a color based on the Favicon page. Kinda like Windows 7 taskbar.

@joeld: For Network Usage per app, you can use netLimiter (not free) that also lets you limit banwidth usage per application. There's a lite version, that only let's you monitor bandwidth usage.
