I also hate when people crossing a traffic lane within the parking lot do so as far from perpendicular as possible.
The zipper-merge happens regularly in my area (SW Germany). But, it only happens at merges that are congested and slow. When the pace of traffic is maintaining 'normal' spacing, people kind of work it out based on who happens to be where. If there are 2 cars in one lane ahead of one car in another, the two cars…
"...and our video-game will be all about not driving cars!"

Sometimes, you squeeze too much shampoo into your hand. It happens. That being said...
This is stupid.
Well, no— it has a few sentences devoted to how iRobot did it before Apple, and then hands are waved and we move on. It then lists a number of Apple iProducts, starting with the iPhone. AngryTechGuy, on the other hand, is pointing out another, much more relevant (until Apple builds robots, anyway) example— the…
The OP wasn't super clear about this, but I didn't interpret the tip to be refering to waiting at the curb for the traveler to come out— are there any airports where they allow such shenanigans, anyway?
As stre said, you usually can't just hang out at the arrivals pickup either.
Hmm.
I didn't realize they were being actively phased out on the bases. It does make sense, though— for the vaaaaast majority of stuff going on outside of combat zones, they're really overkill.
Except we aren't even using HMMWVs overseas anymore.
Nevermind
I do the same for hiccups— force a belch. It hasn't failed me yet, though it has to be one where the swallowed air makes it "far enough" down the throat. It just takes a single such belch, for me.
I think the tone of this article is what is getting to me, as people who insist a story should be done one way or another is very unfair to a writer, [...] If this article was "Hey, what would it be like if the lead of GTA was female?" instead of "OMG WHY HASN'T THERE BEEN A FEMALE YET?" then I'd be fine with it.
No, it's not time. I don't know if anyone has ever noticed, but the characters in the GTA games aren't exactly nice people. They aren't even that likeable.
That right is also known as your money and how you would like to spend it.
I'd be all for a GTA game with a playable female lead.
Whoever put together GTA's story wants to tell it from a male perspective, can you please respect their creative license?
