That’s funny, there was no mention of any criminal charges being filed, let alone anyone being convicted of a crime.

So if you had to bail, and a car, with no police markings or lights, that had been present at the meet, followed you, YOU would know they were cops and you would immediately surrender when you drove into a dead end street. God bless you.

How can this be a cliche?

I always wonder - would I ever win a single race, if my computer didn’t seriously throttle back the AI drones?

I’ve worked with lousy engineers like those

Now THAT sounds like the basis for an moral dilemma:

Sorry man, I’m in L.A.

Not the same, but they do have similarities.

The similarity is that survival is limited in both situations - by the number of lifeboats, or the time it takes the building to collapse.

In my 20s I could drink all night and be hung over the next day

It may be better to carry an umbrella and not need it, than to need it and not have it. But I can’t imagine any circumstance where it’s better (as in, an improvement over your previous circumstances) to need grenade survival training. The fact that you need it means you’ve got a very real problem.

I’m not sure that shoving the women and children out of the way to get in a lifeboat on the Titanic, counts as an ethical dilemma.

We used one we called the “numbers game”

You say awful woman, I say murderer.

Roid rage. (And no, not hemorrhoids)

She was being black. Being black means that you are subject to being yelled and screamed at for no reason in almost any circumstance.

Is this a sign of bigger issues?

More like F0.001?

This is the only time I miss my old smoking habit.

Back in the 80's motorcycle riders bitched that drivers in Japan were considered licensed operators, and were therefore responsible for any “accidents” caused by negligent operation. Here in the U.S., the claim “I didn’t see them” remains a valid defense against being held liable for running people over.
