For those curious, there’s a simple way to calculate how much your modded car is worth:
Looking and Quality? That’s just my read on it
Now that’s quite a pole position.
$120K for an M3.
Couldn’t you just order it this way straight up from the factory and save a ton of cash? Or am I thinking to rationally?
Something, not Someone :-)
Look at it another way. For around this price you’re within shouting distance of air cooled Porsches, Alfa GTVs and many other nice cars. For this budget you can get some decent classic Mustangs. If you want a boulevard cruiser, a more apples to apples comparison - the same scratch will put you in a seriously nice…
Just because something is old, and in good shape, doesn’t make it valuable.
Hmm... Twice rebuilt, shredded tires, Autozone parts, selling it before the heads start leaking.... Not even slightly interested. And he talks too damn much.
My Mini Cooper S used to get me mugged all the time.
I had one of these. It was the worst car ever. It just kept Stalin.
Other than a test drive or picking up your car after finalizing the deal, there is no reason to visit a dealership. Every outcome from visiting is detrimental to the customer. In no case are you going to get a better deal by showing up there.
What’s really annoying is the lack of variety. My local Audi and Jeep dealership have 15 of the same cars with the same features/packages. Only stocking configurations that sell quickly and I don’t want to order a car.
I owe too much, I broke it trying to hoon it, I need to recoup my loss and, pass the problems on to you. 20K is not too much right......right? What a tremendous crack pipe. Hydrolck caused by heavy rain is akin to pregnancy caused by eating fried chicken.
Yeah but those are on there first motor.... also they are dealer cars, this is a private sale.
yeah I read the “I purchased it from a dealer” to mean a drug dealer because this is all sorts of crack pipe
Assuming that was the reason, it wasn’t from the rain. It would have been from this dumbass driving his car through flooding. In which case, assuming hydrolock was the reason, it is a fair assumption that the interior saw water damage too.
Never heard of hydrolock being a reason for a new motor. Usually that just means, pull the plugs and change the fluids. Something really doesn’t smell right with his excuse.
CP. The allure of a turbo’d BRZ is strong, but I’m not buying somebody else’s Frankensubaru. For that price, I can put one together myself without wondering where it’s been.
