I don’t think being “race ready” means adding shapes onto shapes, hanging off other shapes with a red stripe. The gt2 looks like a regular car, with some body flourishes and a roll cage. This looks like it wants to be a transformer...

A non-functioning hood scoop? Yeah, way to remind me of a 1990's Mustang. This car too would take 138 hours to detail with all those nooks and crannies.

The Porsche comparison is a stretch at best.

Showing up in a GT2 is a marker of personal accomplishment. You have the means and the taste to show up in a well heeled historically accomplished race car. The lime green or orange are brash but not nearly as offensive as an Aventador or similar.

Because nothing says “overstyled” better than a third tailpipe on a 4-cylinder motor...
