They’re worth exactly as much as someone is willing to pay them. (And in the cases of max players, most are worth a lot more than even that.)

Didn’t need to watch the video (or even read the headline), if he regularly posts videos to YouTube, yet still holds his phone in portrait mode when shooting video, that tells me all I need to know about him.
Yeah, no disagreement here. If casual fans like me have no respect for our own front office, there’s no reason to think an NBA star would, and they certainly wouldn’t be coming here for the weather.
With all the bad shit that has come out about Bulls management, why would a free agent come to Chicago?
You are right, at the very least, Foreman needed to be fired and he was not.
As a Bulls fan, it’s been incredibly frustrating. Watching them continually whiff on big free agents to give D. Rose some help, watching him bear more and more of the load until it finally (almost literally) broke him down, and now watching them possibly blowing up the team for next to nothing...
The Bulls will never succeed again with Jerry Reinsdorf as an owner. He managed to dismantle arguably the most successful team in NBA history by choosing to keep Jerry Krause rather than MJ, Jackson, and Pippen because “Organizations win championships”. What has the organization done since 1998?
Yeah it makes perfect sense. The Knicks overpaying washed up, injury prone veteran discards from other losing teams.
I’d bet that the average MLB pitcher is not such a terrible outfielder that they’d target him that intentionally, but it’s an interesting question. If they put him at shortstop, that’d be a different question.
So they should only report on a perfect game or no-hitter if it happens less than once every 2 years?
So..... Once every 2 years is not considered rare?
I don’t see how a sports website discussing a rare thing that happened in a 15-inning game constitutes a slow news day.
I count 145 words in this story, including the headline. Only two of those are swear words—three if you count “badass.”
Still flying high from his unorthodox switch-ups in the game, Maddon then hit the showers and washed his body before shampooing his hair this time.
As an OCD Engineer who owns a TDI I can confirm this statement. I even park over a cardboard sheet so I can see oil leaks early.
Take it. Diesel particulate filter issues, intercooler icing issue, high pressure fuel pump issue and probably ten other issues I can’t think of when I think of my MK6 Golf TDI. I’m sorry, but VW builds crap these days. If you go to TDI Club.com, people will tell you, all you have to do is remove the emissions…
I want there to be a button, a big button, that when you press it, it deploys the wing but also says “DEPLOYING WING” in this gruff German voice and like the interior lights dim or something.
Fine story, but I don’t think the profanity is professional or needed. If my 5 year old was 10 instead, I’d like him to be able to read this stuff. I don’t see it adds much. Just an opinion.
the article, literally, takes fifteen seconds to read.
