"Are we sure that screenshot of his tweet is even REAL? I feel like Gabe might be inventing his harassment for his own goals" — GameGater

"What's she going to do, say no? I mean of COURSE she can say no if she wants, but she won't because of the implications..." — It's Always Sunny.

Also, Isn't this the exact same concept as that Misstravel site that Jez did a write up on before? Except in this one you actually PAY for it and the sex isn't implied?

"Exceptional" perhaps by American standards but quite lacking by any other first world developed nation's standards. A couple months? HA! There's places in the world where you can get almost a YEAR. There's places in the world where it's mandated in their constitution for crying out loud.

The rest of the developed world and their 6-12 months of maternity leave laughs at your 3 months.

Try again.

That people still don't recognize your work, even under your many alternative names, is perhaps your greatest accomplishment.

Good luck Jade, and thank you for all the work you did on the many games I enjoyed!

Hours? Try DAYS for people with internet like me. I downloaded a 2.3 gig game last night starting at 5 when I got home. It didn't finish until midnight.

Gertsman specifically? Sure, 7 years ago, I'll grant that. The money publishers are flooding publications with in order to nudge in the ribs for good reviews? That's happening literally right now, but there's no GG army storming that castle.

Again, the targets they choose to attack when compared to the targets

You have a hard time finding articles wherein they aren't acting fucking awful because they have a hard time acting as anything but fucking awful.

I honestly wonder that ex (I forget his name, Gonji or something?) looks at what he's unleashed and feels sad about it. Do you think he sees all this hate and anger thrown around because of his bitterness and just wishes it never happened?

If Gamergate was ACTUALLY concerned about "journalistic integrity" they are absolutely abysmal at picking their targets. IGN has never been called to task over firing Gertsman. Ubisoft still has an embargo on giving pre-release stuff to EGM over negative reviews. Bonuses and paychecks are tied to Metacritic scores

Gawker and Jezebel both did good ones as well, but directing some Kotaku-ites to jezebel is like a vampire walking into a church uninvited...they'd take one step in, hiss loudly, and burst into flame.

I absolutely concede that, mechanically, the game was hot trash for every reason you describe. It deserves to be called out on those grounds but I feel the different narrative focus keeps the game's head *just* enough above water.

I can hear the pearls of Conservative Christians being crushed to dust from my desk...

The story and narrative was WAY more focused on the PEOPLE rather than the events which was refreshing and different but it was done at the cost of unique dungeons and non-recycled interiors. The game was definitely rushed but still managed to be thematically good while being technically (design wise) bad.

Did you ever notice how in 5 years of living in that house, Fenris *never cleaned out the bodies laying in his goddamed living room!?*

Seriously, we can only be asked to save the Kingdom/Country/Planet/Galaxy so many time before we just stop caring.

You know what? I'll say it: DA 2 was good.

Truth. Their memory of government policy and events seems to go back only to *roughly* some time in 2008, though I can't quite put my finger on when...

"I love how they're trying to allege that privacy violations are the fault of Democrats!"

To be fair, while they may not have started it, they're currently pretty big fans of it. Obama is largely unapologetic about it, Hillary is an open supporter, Diane Feinstein told the American people to basically suck it up and
