I doubt the native thing will be an issue. Those who pay attention know she’s addressed it to the satisfaction of the NA community. Meanwhile, Trump has no place criticizing her on that issue - and I expect she'll be prepared with a lacerating comeback if he does.

“Critics find her...” is code for a rhetorical construct created by those who fear her very strength. Warren doesn’t lack charisma; to the contrary, she’s got it in abundance, and that’s precisely why this canard is repeated constantly - to convince people that they’re not seeing the very qualities they are seeing.

I am black and Missy is around my age, people should not be shocked she liked Peter Gabriel because she grew up watching MTV, and back then you watched everything video they played just cause it was on and then were exposed to artist you never heard of. 

Missy is probably one of the most innovative artist of the last 25 years. She wrote, produced, danced, choreographed, sang and rapped. She’s also one of the last artist to understand the visual medium. She really is amazing.

I’m so glad you posted this. I wouldn’t have sought out clips from the VMAs but this was so so so worth it. Missy’s an inspiration, the original, and long overdue for this kind of recognition!

Even in my hardest of hardcore metal days, I would stop and watch when Missy was on MTV. She is just mesmerizing. I think of her like I think of Peter Gabriel. I’m not always sure of what is happening, but you can’t NOT watch

The hate for subway is because they somehow managed to make the act of baking bread - one of the most inherently good-smelling things on Earth - smell terrible. I don’t understand how they managed it, and it bodes terribly for their sandwiches.

There is really only one thing that we can do that will have a chance of changing the trajectory that we are on. And that is to vote. Vote blue no matter who. Fill out the entire ballot, from president to judges to school boards. We must take back the senate, shore up our control in the house and win the presidency.
