Welcome to modern gaming lol. They're only getting bigger.

Bought this game the day before it's full release, and my buddy and I have been loving it. It's lots of fun, and you grow attached to your characters. Kind of a less dire Lord of the Rings journey.

He could do the same stuff as most jedi. Force pull, force push, double jump, wallrun, etc.

Got this baby preloaded. My body is ready, even if my hard drive wasn't.

Kotaku rarely does that anymore.

It hasn’t really been in proper development for 9 years. During that time they had to almost completely redo what was made as it went through multiple different development studios, and was in limbo for a bit. Dambuster Studios, the final developers, took over in 2019.

Yes.

Not only that, but your characters mouth would also move when you spoke, which was awesome.

Well considering the game is on consoles as well, and not just Epic, I’m sure it’ll sell just fine.

Understandable. The only thing that's given me motion sickness was when I would read something, like manuals that came with video games, while my mom was driving, way back when lol.

It’s a comparison that’s been made between them, by many people, since Horizon was announced. Also by the developers. Feel free to google it.”

Ya, that's a pretty weird statement to have made.

No Power Wash Simulator in this list for best, is criminal. Game is my go-to for playing while high. So relaxing.

I’m not a high level player at all, and I still prefer VI over V.

Sounds more like you’ve just grown out of the series more than anything. RE7 WAS the God of War style reboot. If that didn’t get your interest, then nothing else will.

Uh, what? Ashley is better in every single way in this remake, and has more personality than she ever did in the original.

As someone who’s spent thousands of hours across MH:World and Rise, and a few older ones, I’m not sure what “very clearly influenced” things you are seeing in Horizon from Monster Hunter.

Looks pretty cool. Hope it ends up a decent game. Added it to my steam wishlist to keep an eye on how it's going.

What? The combat was improved in almost every single way in Forbidden West. ESPECIALLY the close combat which is useful and fun now.

Yup. I was just about to start the dlc. So nice of Kotaku to spoil things in the headline.
