After playing the demo I’d hardly say the RE 4 Remake is a “minor improvement” over the original, or even RE 3 Remake. It’s actually quite a large improvement.

So there’s no PVE only modes?
I got the deluxe edition of that baby pre-ordered off GMG. 16% off is a game changer vs the Xbox version I was considering.
If I can’t play as Sergeant Metallic, I’ll be a little upset.
I’m not a Naruto fan myself, but a Naruto Fighterz would be excellent for fans of the franchise, and I’d be very happy for them to get a game of FighterZ quality in a franchise they love. I hope they do end up doing something like that.
I can’t see the point in a FighterZ sequel. The graphics still look phenomenal. There isn’t many more useful characters to add at this point, and the gameplay wouldn’t be largely different. The only new thing that would justify a sequel is a new story, but even that could be dlc or an expansion. At that point, it…
I’m stoked for this. My buddy sent me an article about it and I lost my shit. The Budokai games were some of my absolute favourite, and with RE 4 Remake, Dead Space Remake, and a new Budokai Tenkaichi, some of the best parts of my childhood are coming, or have come back.
You might have been able too, but no it doesn’t prompt for the weapon switching attack, it prompts for your Y+B or Triangle + Circle attack, which is your big spirit summon when you get his second phase to about half health.
Most Bethesda games have first person as the default mode, and is designed as the primary view with 3rd person as an alternative. In almost every Bethesda game, the third person mode is also janky and has terrible animations and it’s clear they didn’t put much effort into the third person. If they aren’t going to put…
Uh no to just about all of that.
Don’t feel bad. It’s a common thing happening. My one friend had the same issue. I’m glad my other buddy made it passed that boss, so I at least had one friend to coop with.
It took me a few tries, but once you relax and learn the controls and timings, it’s pretty easy. The dodge-parry window is pretty generous. The key is parrying the critical attacks as that often opens them up to devastating finishers that take off lots of his health.
As someone who’s 30 as well, I feel the same way. I’m also working on Like A Dragon: Ishin and flailed around in this game just like you lmao.
More like the Nioh games. The mission structure is part of the reason I like Team Ninja's souls type games more than FromSoftwares.
Just beat the tutorial and I can see myself really enjoying this game, especially doing co-op. The combat feels really good. The dodge-parry window is very generous, and looks awesome. So it’s similar to Sekiro, except waaaay more approachable for people like me who struggled with that game.
Don’t expect journalistic integrity from Sisi. It’s non-existent. If all the tweets and comments were still up that involved the death threats and other heinous stuff, she would have never made this article.
Nioh 2 is my favourite soulslike, even over Elden Ring which I also love. The multiplayer was excellent and there was so much depth to the different weapons and stances and builds in general. Not to mention the character creator was excellent.
Oh god please don’t.
I played and beat the game last year and loved it. Got me excited for the expansion.
Not surprised. The game was a heavily funded AAA mediocrity. Never worth full price. In a year filled with big AAA titles and fantastic indie titles almost from the get go, you’ve got to make a quality, stand out product. Especially if it’s your first solo game as a studio. At half the price it would have been…
