Sounds like I’ll look forward to the bad movie podcasts about it, but will never actually watch it.

This reminds me a lot of R. Crumb’s Heroes of Blues, Jazz, & Country, which is a favorite of my father. So, I’m adding this to my future-gift list, and I’ll just have to wait until after his birthday to borrow it.

That’s nice and all, but WHERE’S THE DEADWOOD NEWSWIRE!

Let’s play Pun or Typo?

I’m late to the discussion...and am only here because there hasn’t been a newswire yet..but I’m so excited:

I can’t disagree with you, but on the other hand I really like the english cast for Mononoke. Gillian Anderson and Billy Bob Thornton especially hit it out of the park.

I would have enjoyed a timey-wimey joke. Perhaps delivered by Magica?

The most amusing part of this newswire was realizing I didn’t know who any of these people are until I got to the third paragraph and Jennifer Coolidge. Who I still think of as Pootie Tang’s Jennifer Coolidge.

Years from now, Stewart will be brought to justice. And Colbert will wonder what it was that brought them together and how they just couldn’t leave each other alone.

I still have this issue -- in awful condition -- sitting in a box somewhere. It was always one of my favorite covers.

This looks a lot more fun than I would have guessed from the pitch.

They may not be re-releasing the album, but he was in the original crop of album-based comic-covers.

I have no idea how the fandom at large feels, but I love every moment of Doom and Valeria.

I know what you mean, but just FYI: the school from Fame is/was a public school.

I look forward to them including all the Spider-Men that take a chapter to explain.

I still think there’s more to like than not in the Sci-Fi miniseries.

Is that David Tennant? He looks tired.

I’m cautiously optimistic.

infinitesimally better”

No mention of Woodward’s Fear?
