That bug hit me hard about a week ago. I am so excited just to be saving money for a trip to Thailand. Did you volunteer? Which sanctuary? Hah. I have so many questions.

I have done this several times before only with folks who don’t keep an emergency key. I have since learned relatively basic break-in techniques that have saved my butt. Somehow I never learn to keep keys in my pockets when house sitting.

I had a serious vole problem (Voles in bed! No!). I put out scented humane traps and they would trip them without getting caught. Put out death traps with peanut butter and they all disappeared. I think they have an aversion to peanut butter. I swear. Weirdest creatures.

I’d say a great first step would be to talk about it one on one. It can be hard to work around but it helps immensely if you know what/where the issues are and if you trust one another with the details and acknowledge the challenges that both of you will face.

This probably isn’t helpful since we didn’t work out long term but I dated a guy for about two years who had a similar OCD issue to such a degree that I wasn’t allowed to use his soap and had to shower before/after sex. I tried to respect his boundaries but eventually I think my tiptoeing around him was what caused us…

I’m curious about the use of ‘outsider’ as a qualifier. Is that really such a desired factor that it’s a campaign go-to slogan?
