Why do we still have Jackson in the $20?
Why do we still have Jackson in the $20?
Let me start by saying, I love Buffy. It’s a fun, witty, well crafted show that it on my constant rerun comfort watch list.
Does the series touch on the fact that Allen tells us repeatedly, in film after film, who he is? How many movies has he made now about a young, barely legal woman getting ensnared by a creepy old man (often played by Allen himself)?
A good contrast to Cordelia is Xander. I could barely tolerate him for most of the series and would happily have seen him killed off at the end of season 3. Joss loved him, though, and kept him around long after his sell-by date. Xander is Joss’ avatar.
Friends, people, and places you found interesting posted things, and you saw them in the exact order people posted stuff. Such a simpler time.
Ok. This is a bridge too far. What is this Gilbert Grape bullshit? I know this probably will get lost in the grays, but my brother has autism, and I made a short film with an autistic character in it so that we could increase representation. I went to great lengths to find an actor ACTUALLY ON THE SPECTRUM to play…
Duh, she’s rich. People roll their eyes when I go in on rich people, but I stand firm that there isn’t a truly good rich person in this country. I can hold my nose for a few actors, musicians, and artists becoming rich (Ian MacKaye being a millionaire stings tho).
Went as Carrie from the movie of the same name, post-blood-bucket prom scene. Drove to party in dress/wig, and then got out of car and dumped the fake blood over my head. And then I was wet. Very wet. And dripping. I tried to wait around for the blood to get tacky, but it was really cold. So I went into the party and…
I’ve got one I call “Old Gray Thing” that I always forget to post. It was a paranormal encounter but I’m still not sure what exactly it was, and I’ve always been curious if anyone else has seen one too. I’m doxxing myself if anyone I know reads this, but here goes nothing...

This happened to me a few years ago, and I still get chills every time I think about it.
The Hammacanda Don’t Want None If You Got Puns Hon.
How this woman transformed herself from cool rock chick to cheeseball TV personality is mind boggling.
Ahem...
Yeah, this is where I remind people that, as someone on the high-functioning end of the autism spectrum and depression, we need to stop putting racism in the “mentally-ill” bag. Nobody’s objecting to mental illness here. They’re objecting to Ms. Cooper’s racism. And while there can be overlap between racist beliefs…
Honestly, I don’t like anything that has come out of the HP universe except for the 7 books themselves, all the community and smutty fanfic that arose in their wake (which had nothing to do with her), and the theme park. The movies were mostly terrible, and Rowling’s attempts at writing anything afterwards have not…

What I’m taking from this is that you, Tracy, are doing a much better job of cultural commentary than Jennifer Weiner is doing. I’m 54. I’m ambivalent about my own place in the hierarchy of sexual objectification, because while I absolutely understand, and feel, the deep problems of objectifying women’s bodies, and…
